About Ledee Publishing
Ledee Publishing is one person and a production process.
I am Daniel Ledee, Au.D., CCC-A, a practicing audiologist and university faculty member with 10+ years in the field. I work from San Marcos, CA. If you are reading this because someone asked you to hand over your course materials, you are entitled to know who is asking. It is me.
Why this exists
It started with my own course. I wanted an interactive workbook that followed the order I actually teach in, and nothing on the market did, so I built one. Chapters unlock as students work through them, the drills grade themselves, and a timed mock at the end produces a report the student can read.
The SLP 481 and SLP 482 workbooks have run in real university courses. The pharmacy technician workbook has not. The honest summary of this company is that it is new.
What the numbers actually say
Of the free access cards I handed my last cohort, 58 percent were redeemed, and 86 percent of the students who redeemed finished all nine chapters.
Read that literally. It is a redemption rate and a completion rate among students who were given the workbook at no cost. It is not a sales figure, not an adoption count, and not evidence that anyone bought anything. I publish it because it is the only usage data this business owns, and I would rather show you the real number than a flattering one.
What I do for an author
You send what you already have: slides, question banks, handouts, the sequence you teach in. About two weeks from complete materials, your students have a working interactive workbook with your name on it. You write nothing new, format nothing, and host nothing. Students get 12 months of access from the day they redeem their product key.
A licensing agreement is signed before any authoring begins, so the terms are settled in writing before anyone does work. You earn a royalty on every adoption beyond your own classroom, and for your own students' copies you choose how your share is handled. The instructors page carries the rest of the detail.
There are two ways to start. Send materials for a free submission and a free listing, or book a $50 consultation, a 45-minute video working session, if you would rather talk the fit through first.
What I do not claim
No accreditation. No peer review. No institution has endorsed these workbooks, and no institution is presented here as an adopter. I make no claim about conformance with any accessibility standard and none about integration with any course management system. If your institution has a policy on faculty-authored materials, that policy governs, and your policy office decides it, not me.
